We developed a proximity-based social connection platform that facilitates authentic in-person meetings between people with shared interests. The app uses Bluetooth technology to detect when users with common interests are within 100 meters of each other, instantly notifying both parties and enabling immediate real-world conversations.
The platform evolved from simple proximity matching to include GPS-based group formation, intelligent venue suggestions powered by Google Places API.
